The Issue:

On Feb. 22, 2013 Malwarebytes Pro release an update to its software that blocked traffic to the internet and a PC's localhost or 127.0.0.1.

The Resolution:

After opening the Malwarebytes program perform the following tasks

Step 1:

Disable the Malicious Website protection by removing the check mark in the box marked Enable malicious website blocking.

Step 2:

Click on the tab marked Update and click on the button marked "Check for Updates"

Step 3:

After the updates have installed successfully check the box next to "Enable malicious website blocking" to Enable protection.

Protection Registered

Close the program and your machine should resume normal operations with the internet restored.
